Get to know Pastor Lloyd and Debbie

Pastor LLoyd has been married to Deborah for more than 31 years and has two sons, Jason (26) and Jared (21).

He was licensed as a minister at Waukegan Baptist Bible Church in September of 2000 and served as an associate minister there for several years.  After working for 20 years in sales leadership at American Family Insurance, Lloyd then served in full-time ministry as the senior associate pastor at High Point Church in Madison, WI in June of 2013.

In August of 2020, Lloyd accepted the call to be the lead pastor at River Valley Community Church. He loves the people of God and is dedicated to shepherding the flock well through preaching, teaching, care and counseling.

He has earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois - Champaign-Urbana, an MBA from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a MA in Theology from Wheaton College.
