Missions
Missions at River Valley Community Church
- We pray for our missionaries
- We physically and materially assist our missionaries
- We provide monetary support for our missionaries
Missions outreach through River Valley Community Church has as its highest priority the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are lost. The truth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died for our sin, and that He rose from the dead on the third day anchors our outreach. Each missionary supported by River Valley Community Church shares in the belief that presenting Jesus Christ to the lost world is their priority.

Along with the Local Ministries & Missionaries River Valley supports, we would also like to keep you informed on what the youth from our church and our community are doing to share God's love. Please check this area regularly to see how and who to be praying for. We will also be posting update letters, on this page, that the youth send to the church. If you have any questions about anything posted here, please contact the church office at 630-844-9115.
**Ashley Christman went to Honduras, May 21-28, with her nursing class at AU. They studied certain health care system aspects in Honduras. Accompanied by their professor, they performed house visits with community health care workers, government and private orphanages, and public hospitals. They also had the opportunity to visit not-for-profit mission organizations that support public health care in Honduras. See her letter attached to this page!
**Mission Impossible - Several people from River Valley participated in Mission Impossible this year. This is a ministry that Aurora Christian School does every year, usually doing maintenance and construction at different Youth Camps in the United States. Please see the letters on this page from several youth that attended this mission trip.
