[Sunday, May 8, 2011] PermaLink
Attachements: (5811PaulHouseEternity.pdf)
As you can see, this concept applies to salvation and destruction, Heaven and hell. According to scripture, ETERNITY APPLIES TO EVERYONE, saint or sinner. There is to be no end - for the saved and for the lost.
Assuming the truth and trust - worthiness of scripture (never wrong once, ever!) what should be our reasonable response? As we consider scriptural statements about what IS to come, let us weigh carefully our preparation for "ETERNITY."

Jew and Gentile Reconciled Through Christ

11 Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called ?uncircumcised? by those who call themselves ?the circumcision? (which is done in the body by human hands)? 12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jes...

Core Beliefs: Identity In Christ - Vince Gaddis

[Sunday, March 27, 2011] PermaLink
Attachements: (32711SermonHandoutVinceGaddis.pdf)
Understanding our identity in Christ begins with three key premises: 1. Our identity must be seen within the truth of redemption. God redeemed mankind through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. That sacrifice means that we are now reconciled to God and when we acknowledge God?s redemption and Christ?s sacrifice and are born again, our identity changes. 2. As redeemed persons, we are three part beings, we ARE spirit, we HAVE a soul and we LIVE in a body. Our spirits are perfectly justified, and ou...

A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains?

2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip?
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD watches over you?
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun ...

Peter Declares That Jesus Is the Messiah
13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, ?Who do people say the Son of Man is??
14 They replied, ?Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.?
15 ?But what about you?? he asked. ?Who do you say I am??
16 Simon Peter answered, ?You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.?
