Missions outreach through River Valley Community Church has as its highest priority the
proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are lost. The truth that Jesus Christ is the
Son of God, that He died for our sin, and that He rose from the dead on the third day anchors our
outreach. Each missionary supported by River Valley Community Church share in the belief that
presenting Jesus Christ to the lost world is their priority.

community in downtown Aurora, IL.
Oasis
The Oasis is a midweek gathering for followers of Jesus Christ. We are located in downtown
Aurora and desire to worship with the residents of Aurora and the surrounding communities. We
worship through contemporary music and expository preaching of the Word of God. Our deepest
desire is to be obedient to God and be faithful to His word. We walk with and love all that come
and assist them in transformation.
Men's Discipleship House
A ministry committed to the further spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and relational growth of
men in transition. A live-in discipleship and support community.
Christian Family Counseling Center
A Christian based professional counseling center in downtown Aurora, IL. Prayerfully to open
in January of 2010.

K-Life Youth Ministry

K-Life is a community-wide, interdenominational Christian ministry of discipleship and
fellowship for youth and their families. Through a variety of activities (weekly clubs, small
group Bible studies, mission trips, ski trips, and monthly events), K-Life kids grow in their faith
and have lots of fun in the process. They learn that following Christ and discovering His plan
for their life is the most exciting adventure of all and that they can count on friendship and
support from leaders and peers who care.

transformation ministry for troubled men whose lives are out of control as a result of drugs,
alcohol, or some other destructive behavior pattern. The program helps them confront

members of local churches *Transitional housing.
LifeSpring

Lifespring Ministry is Wayside's long term transitional living program for homeless women and
women with children, who have lost their housing due to addiction, abuse, or financial reasons.
This safe, loving "family" environment has the capacity to house up to 57 women and children
and provides a 12-month program teaching families the necessary skills to live independently.
Ministering to the whole person by offering education through the program, along with leading
women and families into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a local body of believers.

Teen-Nite

Teen-Nite is a citywide outreach youth program. We serve young adults in the city of Aurora
and surrounding cities of the Fox Valley area. Our goal is to engage and challenge these young
adults off the streets of the cities with the Word of God and provide an alternative to a negative
lifestyle. We seek to build strong relationships with the youth by instilling hope, faith, integrity,
values, vision, relationships, excellent leadership, and unconditional love through mentoring,
recreation, and fellowship. Another goal is to take the city and bring all the youth back to God
through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Child Evangelism Fellowship
Through the Good News Club, which is similar to a high-powered Sunday school held in public
schools and neighborhoods, churches can build relationships with children and their parents
outside church doors. Good News Clubs provide the context in which ongoing evangelism and
discipleship can occur.

Peter and Ochie Bangcong - New Tribes Mission
Church Plant in Thailand

New Tribes Mission helps local churches train, coordinate and send missionaries to these
tribes. The NTM missionary team learns the tribal language and understands the culture, so the
message of the Gospel can be presented in the language and the manner the people will
understand. They translate God's Word, teach people how to read and write their own
language, and teach through the Bible chronologically, laying a foundation for the Gospel
among people who have never met the God of the Bible. Missionaries disciple the new believers,
epuip them to lead their church, and help them reach out to other villages within their own
tribe and to neighboring tribes.
Mike & Kay Killar - "The Well"

The Well is a Christian ministry in Thailand under Servantworks and other partner
organizations. It's purpose is to love Thai bar girls and sex workers in the same way that Jesus
loved that woman and others like her; to help her see and experience her true value as a
creation by God, and to help her, her family and village indeed find their dream of a better life.
The Well provides counseling, training, job development and other services to women and their
family members. Kay's brother helps with Sam Rong Tai Church, a Church Plant in a slum area
in Bangkok.
Christian Leaders for Africa

The mission of Christian Leaders for Africa (CLA) is to promote theological education on the
African continent and in particular, to generate support for schools such as Nairobi
Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (NEGST) in Nairobi, Kenya. CLA will focus primarily
on raising support for the students, faculty, programs, and facilities at NEGST in order to help
NEGST raise up the next generation of leaders for the African church. CLA's goal is to raise
support through relationships that will link American and African churches and church leaders
in mutually rewarding partnerships.
