"As of December 2016, Peter is now a new Church Planting Director of New Tribes Mission of the Philippines Inc. He will be overseeing the 92 missionaries in the field and plan for the discipleship program of the 214 tribal churches all over the Philippines. He is also responsible to survey new tribal locations for church planting. Peter will raise funds for his expenses in travelling all over the country to visit those missionaries and churches."

God gave us a dream, to serve Him in ministry to bar girls in the red light districts of Bangkok. Burdened by His love for them, we have obeyed God's call faithfully. We are amazed, but not surprised, by the way He has provided for and blessed our ministry to these broken and overlooked Thai women. By His grace we have taken part in preventing prostitution in families, ending cycles, and equipping women to transform the communities from which they came. As we serve the girls, we have seen God touch their hearts and satisfy their souls. Our heart's desire is to provide an opportunity for bar girls to have a new life, full of God's marvelous peace and love. We ask that you continue to pray for our ministry. It is often very difficult and the results take much time, cultivating relationships and building trust. We know, however, that the God who sent us here and gave us a passion to love these girls is stronger than every obstacle we may face. May God bless you tenfold for your faithfulness and partnership.

One way to help support "Samaritan Creations" is by purchasing jewelry created by the women as part of their new career. Call the church at (630)844-9115 for more information.

Sam Rong Tai Church

Sam Rong Tai Church brings a sprout of life to the dreary industrial slum in which it is located. This ministry ministers to an average of 20 adults and 45 kids each weekend. At this point, it's main focus is on children and teens, as the surrounding community is rampant with drug and alcohol abuse and early teen pregnancy. With the assistance of River Valley Community Church, Sam Rong Tai recently completed refurbishing their building, ensuring continuing ministry for the foreseeable future.

Rich & Richelle Howard - "TRI-M"

Dear Friends,
We have had a busy summer with much traveling here at home.
Our Tri-M national team in Rwanda has just finished training 45 students in Goma, DRCongo and we are gearing up for our teaching in Sept/October in Rwanda. Please find our newsletter attached.
Blessings,
Rich

Our ministry point is in Central Africa, centered in Rwanda.
Why train national pastors?

A. The Biblical mandate. This ministry model is rooted in 2 Timothy 2:2 and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. This is a practical discipling and mentoring ministry where TRI-M missionaries and invited adjunct teachers come along side of those who are called but not trained, providing necessary Biblical and practical training.

B. The lack of biblical training centers in many third world communities. In many places where churches have been established there are no adequate local training institutes. TRI-M presenters come into those communities with detailed theological instruction providing face to face training and mentoring. In many cases this training material enhances the library of these church leaders in their own language

Victoria - Serving Christ in the Middle East

Victoria is working with college students in a large Middle Eastern nation. The country is over 99% Muslim, and most people have never heard the good news of Jesus Christ. These young adults, the future leaders of their communities and countries, are deciding now what they will believe for a lifetime. Victoria's role is to share Christ with students, help them grow and develop in their faith, and equip them to take the gospel to their families, neighborhoods, and the world. To get in touch with Victoria for more information about the ministry, or specific prayer requests please email RVCC at admin@rivervalleycommunity.org

Parker Settecase

"God is on the move and so am I! I will be serving with AIA at the Ohio State University (turns out "the" is actually officially part of our name). Right now my full time job is raising funds so that I can report to Ohio State University ASAP. That means I'm not allowed to do official AIA work, as you can imagine this is very hard for me. I love my job, I love discipling young men, I love teaching God's word and helping people know the living God, I love helping college students work out their questions about their faith and the Bible. Right now I continue to train and disciple my former student athletes in Puerto Rico and at NIA through my blog posts while I raise support. I'm currently around 43% of my monthly support goal."
